From the garden
ALA is over. I’m very tired, but I am sitting on Keem’s roofdeck in
Chicag with an avocado icy and a good book. The only thing I need now
is a Jason.

Clockwise from the upper-left: Fordhook chard, thai basil, cherry roma tomatoes, italian heirloom tomato, rainbow chard, greek basil, coreopsis tinctura, wando peas.
Simply beautiful! My rooftop garden has had it rough this summer – not enough rain to keep things truckin’ while I’ve been out of town, so I have some very sad little plants. I DO however, have a few zygote-sized zucchinis, cucumbers and tomatoes, OH and the teeniest, coolest eggplant you ever saw. I’ll give them a couple more days to recover from my last absence and then send you pictures!
