Topics
So we've got cataloging, sustainability (both library support for the format, as well as preservation and conservation), programs, fundraising, and outreach (which we can apply to all the previous topics). I'd like to add Establishing a Collection - some guidelines/best practices for libraries that would like to start collecting zines.

I'd like to talk about methods for staying connected with other libarians interested in zines. I'm guessing that most of the folks who will make it to this meeting will be capital "L" librarians, and we do our work much better if we stay connected with small "l" zine librarians, and at the same time continue to talk about zines all the time to non-enlightened library staff, adminsitrators, etc.

Do we want to become an ALA discussion group? Is it necessary/beneficial to be an official group? What umbrella group would we join (YALSA, SSRT, etc.)? Would this leave out the community of non-ALA librarians?

Zine libraries website: discuss content, drum up content and web producers.
